Blisshouse Singapore! 

So, we were approached by our school magazine editor to be featured in next year's Valentines article! Along with two other couples, we were invited to Blisshouse Singapore for the photoshoot and a Food Tasting session! :)

This place has really nice decors, very suitable for couples to go to! Girls can go there for a chillax tea session too hehe :)
Super love the greeny backdrops cos somehow greeny stuffs completes all pictures better.

Just looks so pretty :D I've always had some weird admiration for these vintage looking clocks, heh.

The boss/designer of this whole place is really a genius for putting everything together, giving a love garden, first love feel.

yupp so we had a food tasting session and we got to try the Valentines' Day set meal which I am not allowed to post yet hehe!

Good Food = Happy Mr & Mrs Yay

The food they have there is mostly western culinary and its like eating in an air-conditioned al fresco dining area concept. Quite awesome uh :)
Highly recommend this place if you are a atmosphere-loving person :)

Mr Yay is TOTALLY sober

hey everyone,

So Mr Yay went clubbing with his army friends just now (butter factory) and he has some conclusions to make:
 1. It's not fun at all, if he clubs without Mrs Yay, coz basically, there's no one he can dance with
2. Butter Factory has crappy sound systems that makes you go deaf
3. Its friggin expensive (though Mr Yay did not spend a single cent at all)

So party goers, I urge you to head to Zouk, where all the fun memories were forged and all the happenings happened.

Anyway, back to the entirely boring night, it got worse when one of Mr Yay's buddies, lets call him "Le Burmese Prince" became too drunk after what, one neat shot of Vodka. So basically, Mr Yay spent the entire night taking care of this lousy royal brat and even gave up his bed for him.

So while letting LBP sober up outside Butter Factory, some nice photos were taken!! woohoo...

MBS was so pretty... This was really the point where Mr Yay really wished Mrs Yay was with him. Mind you, I haven't even set foot into the club yet. -.-

More lights from the floating platform... well there were many small little floating balls that dotted the Marina bay and they sort of like, made the whole thing look damn nice. Oh, plus the soft winding blowing at us (those drunkard few), it was really a nice evening.

Anyway, its like 5am-ish right now and im on the sofa. enjoyed the evening more for the scenery than for the clubbing, to be honest.

Ho Ho Ho Santa just left town~

A very late Merry Christmas from Mr and Mrs Yay! ❅ ❄ ❅ ❄ ❅

super excited for next year's X'mas cos we may be spending a full three months of white christmas in Canada! :D

I was shocked by this Google+ "auto awesome" function that made this twinkle effect. Just stare into the photo.

I didn't even click anything!! 

All I did was uploading this photo, (as part of this blog post) & a google notification appeared, showing this GIF of the previously non-twinkly x'mas tree photo.

Feels like someone is stalking my pictures and editing them for me instantly. LOL

So what happened for this year's warm Christmas were hearty meals and celebrations here and there.

& all I got from this year's Santa was FAT. boohoo :(

fine, I've got some other presents too hehe!

On eve's day, Mr Yay and me were feeling the bakers' mood and decided to put our Bakers' gloves on >:)

& these little babies emerged!

Red Velvet cupcakes with Apple or Blueberry fillings, topped with Cream Cheese! <3

the batter split a little, but texture was not too bad!

The taste and fillings saved it all, phew~ :)

According to Mr Yay, this photo is Singapore's Top Model Standard. 

So I decided to take revenge here by saying this is Singapore's Top-est Model standard, teehee.

Since Christmas is over... New year is next! 

& it just means looking forward to more sweet memories and experiences with Mr Yay! <3

& more changes to be made to improve ourselves!

Mrs Yay has got a new hairdo!

soooooo... I am still sick and Mr Yay is still happily at home killing zombies :/

went to the salon to get my hair done sneezing and coughing my lungs away. I just hope the people there don't catch my flu bug! 

I went to the Kimage hair-dressing school at Funan IT mall on a random day like this. On the way there I was still half asleep with my flowy tapped nose and heavy spinny head, but somehow decided that I must break free from my usual boring hair colour! so Volaaa this is what I got~

100 points for my bravery!!!!

I didn't have much expectations of the outcome since I went to a hair-dressing school to do it. The whole process was actually quite torturous becos' the student that was assigned to me didn't seem to know what she was doing with my hair. She even had the teacher to coach on the basic hair cut, hmm.. but I was too sick to have any reactions. But luckily, the teacher was always around and it made me 200% more at ease when she's hovering around. & It turned out so super chio! <3 woohoo! 

One more awesome thing about this hairdo is that not much maintenance is needed.

That is if you don't mind just a plain ombre hairdo after a month or so. 

Becos' this turqoise color is just a semi dye so it would definitely drop off no matter which salon you go to. 

But I totally don't mind an Ombre hair color, its super chio as well!! :)

Even when your hair roots grow out, it will just blend in with the brunette hair color on top! :D 

YAY to pretty hair for at least the next 6 months!

The key to happiness is to appreciate everything and expect nothing.

I guess this saying really just reflects what ever happiness I am feeling from this surprisingly cool hairdo! 

Plus, this whole thing only costed me $91 net! $.$

Mrs Yay is sick!!

Oh no... Mrs. Yay is sick. She's down with fever and has sore throat and a slight flu. oh no... What can Mr. Yay do? Download Left 4 Dead 2 for free from Steam today and start playing. Teehee! Well ok at least I showed some concern, but yeah, will go over to the long lost land of the east tomorrow to check in on Mrs. Yay. Hopefully her fever's better by then! For now, its back to killing zombies!! woohoo!!! happy belated boxing day people!

Hey there!

Hi everyone!

This is Mr Yay here. Well today, Mrs Yay "surprised" me with a super advanced birthday surprise!! Any guesses?

Its a brand new Olympus TG-2! It's like totally cool with all the functions and effects and filters. What's more, it is friggin water proof and freeze proof too! Which means.... Oh Canada! Mrs Yay and I are SOOOOOOO gonna have so much fun with it! hehe. 

Anyway this being my 1st ever blog post, like literally, I shall keep it short and sweet. Sweet coz this camera is SOOOO friggin awesome! ^^ 

Well on a sad note, we'll be receiving our results tomorrow. Results of 3 solid months of non-stop bombardment of engineering knowledge. Hope we do well!
